Kaimé Guerrero Valencia (pronouns: they/them) are a writer and scholar originally from Quito, who has been based in Berlin for the past nine years. Their academic career commenced with a diploma in Sociology and Political Science at the "Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador". Kaimé proceeded to pursue further studies, attaining a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies with a Gender Profile at the Freie Universität Berlin. They are a current PhD candidate and researcher at the Collaborative Research Centre "Intervening Arts" (SFB1512) within the Department of Humanities at the University Duisburg-Essen.
