Subsequently research assistant at the Department of Social Medicine and Public Health with a focus on gender and diversity (FH Dortmund), in the DFG-funded methodological research project "Questions in Qualitative Interviews" (University of Duisburg-Essen) and at the Department of Gender Sociology/Faculty of Sociology (University of Bielefeld). Currently working on the project "GYNVEPI - Towards an Epodemiology of Gynecological Violence" at the Faculty of Health Sciences (University of Bielefeld).
In my ethnographic dissertation project I am investigating the social mechanisms of the production and maintenance of the gynecological situation. As a contribution to ethnomethodological studies of work, I aim to reconstruct how work and the division of labour as well as physical-material, technical and linguistic practices are interactively organized and carried out. I am particularly interested in how proximity and distance are created and how gender-specific or gendering practices are carried out in the profession.
