Focus of Work
I am an Early Modernist, I specialize in the history of the body, gender, and slavery, historical anthropology, identity, and ecclesiastical record keeping processes in Europa and South Africa.
My most recent publications and presentations relate to my dissertation on south German parish registers in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and my new research project on slavery and dependency in South Africa.
