Currently (2021) jury chairperson of the EKD's "Hanna-Jursch-Preis" and "Hanna-Jursch-Nachwuchspreis". Since winter semester 2007 professor of Church History at Ruhr University Bochum (2015 – 2017 Dean at the Faculty of Protestant Theology), since winter semester 1996/97 professor of ecclesiastical and theology history and didactics of Protestant theology at Siegen University. First theological examination 1994. PhD 1992. 1990 research associate at the Seminar for Ecclesiastical History in Münster. Born 1962.

Focus of Work

historical-theological gender studies, mainly in the field of Christian social welfare work, contemporary ecclesiastical history
