Since October 2013 Executive Manager of the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology (BGHS) at Bielefeld University. 2008-2013 scientific coordinator of the international Research School "Education and Capabilities" at Bielefeld University. In 2012, additionally conducting a research project on gender equity in everyday practice of faculties at Bielefeld University

Co-autor of the Gender-Report 2010 on gender justice at North Rhine-Westphalian universities

Co-editor of GENDER. Journal for Gender, Culture and Society (Budrich Publishers)

2006 Dissertation in sociology at TU Darmstadt

Since 2001 research associate in Gender Research in several projects at TU Dortmund, among others DFG project "Vision and Mission. The integration of gender into the mainstream of European research policy", Uni Dortmund (Prof. Sigrid Metz-Göckel). 

1999-2000 academic assistant in the office of the equal opportunities officer of Uni Münster (organisation of events, editing the magazine "Wilhelmine"). 

1998 local authority women's officer, Emsland.
