Freelance architect and urban planner in Hagen since 1976, office & family with Hartwig Brettschneider, three children: Julia, Anna, Moritz. Student of Art History and Theatre Studies in Berlin, Architecture with urban planning emphasis in Aachen/Stuttgart, Dipl.-Ing. RWTH, Architecture and Urban Planning. Since 1996 network professorship at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences, Architecture department. Founding member Agenda advisory board Hagen, member of SRL (women in planning); Soroptimist International. Involvement & consulting: neighbourhood and playground initiative, school design action groups, Hagen/Dortmund women's office and women's advisory board, co-founder of the group WohnbeHAGEN. Projects (competitions, design and implementation): housing construction, new and re-construction, protection of listed buildings, cultural and school buildings, neighbourhood planning, open space planning, housing environment improvement, development planning, expert advisory positions.
